Hello,

I am Sharon, a mother of 2 wonderful teenage girls with a passion for books, art, design and all things creative. The older my girls get, the more time I seem to have which has both its pros and cons. I miss spending my days with them, but at the same time, I now have the opportunity to pursue the many goals and dreams I have always planned to embark on. One of those goals was to write a Children’s Book that teaches young children (and adults, as we are always still learning) the many essential traits that are the foundation and building blocks to raise confident children with good character and strong moral values.

When I was growing up, my parents continually impressed upon me the importance of having strong work ethic, being well mannered, having integrity, and above all, the invaluable gift of being kind. These are amongst the many values I too have passed on to my girls along with the importance of self belief, strong self-esteem, confidence, and courage, which are so vitally important in today’s world. Any positive influence or impression I can bestow to my readers through my stories is the sole purpose of my writing journey.

The inspiration behind my writing has been one very special friend who I call my ‘Champion’. Through difficult times, I was blessed to have someone who saw so many wonderful things in me, that I failed to see in myself. Building my courage, self-esteem and self-belief are only a few of the many things I learned while in the presence of this cherished soul who is the epitome of goodness and the essence of each story I write. The undeniable belief which never waivered, I am truly grateful for and will always treasure…my very own ‘ELEPHANT’ ant.
